Nana Agyemang is a multimedia journalist, creative strategist and digital marketer based in New York. She graduated with an MA from Columbia University in multimedia storytelling specializing in fashion and diversity.
Her modus operandi is centred on building long-lasting brands through inspiring content. She is able to do this because of her in-depth knowledge of the digital social space and because of her perceptive powers, which enable her to comprehend her client’s needs. She competently fills every nook and cranny of her clients’ brand development needs inclusive of growing their social media, enhancing their brand awareness and developing their business approaches.
In her experience, Nana has worked with several notable powerhouse companies including Refinery29, ELLE Magazine, BBC News, The New York Times as a strategist, video host, spokesperson and writer.
In 2016, Nana created an online platform called EveryStylishGirl that seeks to provide women of color with networking and job placement opportunities at media and fashion companies to increase diversity in a previously White-dominated industry. Her company also annually holds a conference called Sip N Slay where Black creatives come together to discuss secrets to success within the industry and to collectively solve the challenges that they face. Within the same year of 2016, her feats as a phenomenal storyteller landed her with an invitation to the White House Correspondent’s Dinner with the Obamas.
