Nana Addison is the strategist behind some of your favourite brand activations, director of exciting experience events and live music formats as well as rising a tech & beauty entrepreneur. Nana Addison is a real modern day renaissance woman. Her love for tech, culture, music and startup entrepreneurship has fueled Nana to embark on an unconventional career journey. As a university drop out, the dyslexic Ghanaian – German, chose the path of the autodidact, founded her first brand communication agency in her early twenties and has been pioneering on many levels ever since.

Her client list includes Fortune 500 companies like Coca Cola, global sporting giants Nike and Adidas, New Media Masters like YouTube as well as the world’s most credible edutainment platform TED. Here Nana often works in a unique interface consulting and directorial position. Notable music acts she has worked with include Ghanaian afrobeats star King Promise and Grammy nominated US Gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds. Her interdisciplinary expertise and international experience has proven critical and valuable.

Nana is founder and owner of CURL Agency a Berlin based boutique agency specialising in ethnically and culturally diverse brand consulting, activation and event production. CURL Agency is the creator of CURL CON, Germany’s leading Afro hair, beauty and lifestyle festival. Nana is also founder and CEO of Styleindi, a mobile App that matches customers with ethnically diverse trained hair & beauty professionals, through a unique AI automation. 

Despite her busy schedule Nana remains adamant about contributing to a more conscious and inclusive world by empowering the future leaders in her field. She is the license holder and director of TEDx Mauerpark and teaches as a guest professor at the SAE Institute in the BA for Music Business Management.
